New York-based David Hollands burnished his reputation as a techno DJ in the ‘90s, but in the last two decades he has successfully parlayed his encyclopedic knowledge of all things music to private events, weddings, and the corporate world.
Private Events & Weddings
A true collaborator, David spends countless hours getting to know his clients in order to create the perfect musical atmosphere for them. He enjoys working closely with the bride and groom to curate their wedding playlist, and he often acts as musical director not just for the reception, but for the ceremony as well. For private events and parties, he works with individuals and small businesses to create a vibe befitting their celebration. David has played venues both big and small, from The Boathouse in Central Park to the Top of the Rock and various ballrooms, barns and boats in New York and beyond.
Corporate Work
A go-to musical partner for some of the world’s biggest brands, he has produced, edited and remixed audio tracks for a wide swath of corporate needs, sometimes working onsite as a musical director, audio engineer and post-session party DJ. No stranger to the club scene, David knows how to kickstart the party even in the most corporate of settings, taking the scene from daytime sessions to nighttime revelry.
In the last few years, Hollands has established himself as a favored collaborator among the corporate event industry’s biggest names, working with them on high-profile events such as the E3 Video Game Conference, The Preakness Stakes and the SEMA Hot Rod Show. He has provided music consulting services for Fortune 500 brands including AT&T, Boeing, ExxonMobil, ESPN, Kraft, McDonalds, Microsoft and General Electric. His work with Nintendo won an Ex Award for the launch of the Wii. David Hollands has also lent his DJ skills to a number of non-profit organizations, most notably Conservation International, Clinton Global Initiative and Pilobolus Dance Company.
